93XRT Artist We Go To 11

None of the members of Austin’s We Go to 11 can even drive yet. This, however, does not keep them cranking out driving tunes. Two of the members are brothers, and the drummer has been a family friend since he was 3. Jake Hartwell, age 16, plays bass and keyboards; his brother Zak, 14, is the lead singer and guitarist; and Sled Allen, 13, plays drums. The guys write their own music and lyrics and perform all original tunes. They describe their music as “hard rock” or “Texas rock,” and are constantly striving to develop songs with great lyrics and interesting arrangements. Their music is way beyond their years. Come and check out this great band now, and say you saw them when!
