Web Internship

WXRT-FM is looking for enthusiastic summer Interns who are eager to learn the dynamics of a large market radio station, specifically developing and updating the station website. WXRT has been nationally recognized as one of Chicago's most legendary rock stations, and was the first in the Chicago market to have a web presence. Throughout the internship experience, interns will be representing the radio station at many of Chicago's largest and most exciting events, including street festivals and concerts, and learning the ins and outs of interactive marketing.

Representing WXRT in a public relations capacity is an extremely important role as an intern, and will contribute to the station's overall image and success.

Applicants should be responsible, outgoing, and possess excellent communications skills. Applications should also be familiar with HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS and comfortable working with computers.
