The Vic Theatre

The Victoria Theater, most well known as The Vic Theater is a musical venue located in Chicago, Illinois.

The Vic Theatre, designed by architect John E.O. Pridmore, opened in 1912 as the Victoria Theatre. It took three years to build the luxurious five-story vaudeville house. The Vic Theater can easily accommodate 1400 people with seating for 1000.

When there's no live music, the Brew & View is the Vic's alter ego, transforming the theater from music to movies.

The Vic has been home to countless XRT shows over the years, including Wilco (the live album Kicking Television was recorded here!) Damien Rice, Billy Corgan, Gomez, Tom Petty, John Hiatt, Poi Dog Pondering to name a few.
