House of Blues (HOB) is a chain of music halls and restaurants founded in 1992 by Hard Rock Cafe founder Isaac Tigrett and his friend and investor Dan Aykroyd. The original House of Blues is located in Cambridge, MA and opened it's door on Thanksgiving Day in '92 to feed the homeless- before it opened to the public. There are now eighteen House of Blues venues sprinkled throughout the United States and Canada.
House of Blues Chicago is a home for live music and southern-inspired cuisine. Each club celebrates African-American culture, specifically blues music and folk art. Live music is featured every night of the week on the Backporch Stage, the Foundation Room offers VIP Membership, a Gospel Brunch package is available every Sunday for purchase, and much more.
House of Blues has been a home to many XRT Shows over the years, including The Who, Collective Soul, Toots and Maytals, Son Volt, Robert Randolph, and much more.
