Schubas has been a staple music venue in Chicago for over 15 years. Located on the corner Belmont and Southport, it was built around the turn of the century as one of the Schlitz Brewery tap houses. The tradition is kept alive by offering Schlitz bottles at the bar.
It boasts one of the best, most inviting small music rooms in the city. Holding approximately 175 people, it treats fans to some of the best live music in Chicago. Schubas has hosted musical acts from rock, folk, country, reggae, funk; with bands on all different levels. The Harmony Grill is attached to Schubas, which offers a full menu of food to enjoy before of after the show.
93XRT has hosted many Studio X Performances here which have included: John Mayer, Elvis Costello and Allan Toussiant, Guster, Death Cab for Cutie, Lindsay Buckingham, KT Tunstall, Gomez, Ray LaMontagne, and many more.
